The ADHD assessment process typically involves:
An initial intake session to understand your concerns, history, and goals
One to two assessment sessions, including clinical interviews and standardised measures
Report writing, integrating assessment results and findings
A feedback session to explain the results, diagnosis (if applicable), and recommendations
This process ensures a comprehensive and individualised assessment.

Our ADHD assessment fees range from $830–$1,290, depending on the number of assessment sessions required and the type of report selected.
Initial intake session: $210
Assessment sessions (1–2): $210 per session
Feedback session: $210
Summary letter (1–2 pages): $200
Comprehensive report: $450
We also offer payment plans if required.

A Mental Health Care Plan can be used for the initial intake session and the feedback session, which allows access to a Medicare rebate.
Assessment sessions and report writing are not covered by Medicare.

Unfortunately no. Psychologists cannot prescribe medication in Australia.
If medication is being considered, an assessment with a psychiatrist is recommended, as psychiatrists are able to diagnose ADHD and prescribe medication.
